KIPP Bayview Academy has been located at 3rd Street & Key Avenue for nearly two decades. Since our founding in 2003, we have been proud to be located in the heart of the Bayview-Hunters Point community, and we are proud to announce we’ll be investing in some exciting improvements and upgrades to our campus and classrooms over the coming year.
Over the next year, KIPP will be investing in our school campus and community to make these upgrades:
- Brand new main entrance and fencing
- Classrooms with new lighting, flooring, paint, furniture, ventilation, and sinks
- Updated restrooms
- Safer drop off and loading zones
- Accessible entrances & restrooms
- Safety upgrades, including structural improvements, new fire alarm & sprinkler system.
We are still accepting applications to KIPP Bayview Academy for the 2021-22 school year. Apply online today.

KIPP in San Francisco
For over 15 years, KIPP has partnered with families and teachers to educate thousands of students in San Francisco. Our college-prep, public schools focus on classrooms that are inclusive where all students are known and supported, respected for their unique strengths, and encouraged to be excellent learners and leaders.
Together with families and communities, KIPP Public Schools Northern California creates joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students with the skills and confidence to pursue the paths they choose—college, career and beyond—so they can lead fulfilling lives and create a more just world.
We have an elementary school, middle school, and a high school in the Bayview District.
